Updates, updates, updates. God, I feel like it's been decades since I last updated.
SO, first things first, obviously. I turned sixteen about...nine days ago? XD My parents are pretty strapped for cash, but, since my last, old, crappy computer crashed on me about a month or so ago, my dad saved up the money and got me a brand new, beautiful laptop, which I am currently falling in love with. It's exceptional and quiet and all around perfect, but (not to sound selfish, I really appreciate it) it's really the only gift I got and I didn't even have a party. Suffice to say, it doesn't even really seem like I had a birthday at all, but that's alright, sometimes shit happens. xd
Unfortunately, that also means that, since I don't have a job or either of my parent's have the funds, I am currently lacking Mass Effect 3 which, if I had had a computer to properly update with, you guys would have known how excited I was for it's release a few weeks back.
I don't know, I was really looking forward to someone maybe getting it for me for my birthday, but that's not going to happen.
....I don't even know what I'm complaining about. XD It's not that big of a deal, but I really get into my games, as you guys all know, so, you know. XD I've already power played through both Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 twice with different characters, one female and one male. While I really don't know much about the story or plot for ME3, I did learn that *SPOILERS?* you can romance Kaidan with a Male Shep, and if so, I'm freaking out because that's been one of my main goals for the Mass Effect triology since ME1. XD *END OF SPOILERS?* Which, in truth, makes this whole wait thing even worse, because I want to play soooooo bad and see all the cool things they've done. C: Hopefully, a gaurdian angel will come from somewhere and place Mass Effect 3 in my lap so I can be a reculse till the end of spring playing it till my fingers bleed. XD
That being said, until I get the game and tell you guys I've got it, I'd appreciate if all my followers and friends would refrain from giving me details on the game. I want to be suprised; what I know already is enough to keep me pretty excited for a while. XD
I don't know if any of you remember me mentioning it, but I've also started writing my book. I have the ideas, characters, and all of it worked out, I just have to finish up the basic introductions. C: If you guys want, I might upload the first chapter when it's done, just to get your feedback, but it's going to be oine hell of a big chapter. XD
Aaaaannnnddddd, that's about it. I love you all, thank you so much for being patient with my hiatus, and hopefully I can start being more productive soon. C: Love you guys!~

Okay, so I'm going to give you two places I want you to go right now, the first journal long and the other short.
They're about current events in the world, one we know a lot about, especially everyone here on dA, and the other I din't even know about till I read it from

OKAY, first journal is about SOPA and PIPA, the bills that Congress are trying to pass to censor the Internet: luna--rose.deviantart.com/jour…
The SECOND journal is written by one of my favorite artists, PolymorphicGirl, about the Acropolis of Athens in Greece, which is being rented out -Yes, rented! - for commercial use by the Greek government because they are so far in debt: polymorphicgirl.deviantart.com…
It's just...how crazy is this? Not to sound weird or scary, but this is bullcrap, and the world seems to be slipping towards th gutter.
Because not even a two months ago, people barely even knew what SOPA was. And now everyone knows and their fighting it, and that's great! But when we shout out against something, everything else just seems to get left behind.
Like the Athenian Acropolis. That's a big deal to me, if it isn't to you. I might be a mythology buff and a lover of all things classically Greek and Roman, but even someone not interested at all in that sort of thing has to feel how sad that is. Allowing movie stars and directors and trucks and pollution all over something so large and historic and great.
It's just like....everything has lost it's voice, and nothing means quiet what it should anymore.
Anyway, excuse my rants; please pass, if not this journal, the two journals up top along, so people know the sort of things going on in the world right now.
